Pres Register
Preston Register is a Dothan native and a partner with Hall, Register & Brown. His law practice focuses on governmental law for counties and municipalities, on business transactions, contracts, civil litigation, probate and family law. Pres is the county attorney for Houston County, and for several local municipalities.
Pres graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. While attending law school, he was a member of the Alabama Law Review. Pres authored a note that was published in the Alabama Law Review and has been a requested speaker based upon the piece. Additionally, during law school, Pres became the first recipient ever from the state of Alabama of the Janet Steiger Foundation Award, which is a national award that provides scholarships in the areas of consumer protection and antitrust. Prior to attending law school, he received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Alabama and a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University.
In addition to practicing law, Pres is a husband and father. He enjoys playing outside with his young family as well as running and reading. The Registers attend church at First Presbyterian Church in Dothan where Pres currently serves as a deacon.
